Development of a Community Led Local Development Strategy

Luton Borough Council wishes to commission an experienced consultant to work with local communities to develop a Local Action Group (LAG) and Community Led Local Development (CLLD) Strategy.
The strategy will set out the proposals for the implementation of the Luton CLLD Programme that will provide targeted support to help workless residents in to education, training or employment. The consultant will work with local organisations and residents from local communities to identify and address a broad range of issues that present barriers to employment in Luton, and to propose and specify opportunities for community led development, innovation and partnership working that can overcome these barriers within local communities.
